Popular tours in Bolivia

The mountain bike tour in La Paz is world famous as it includes cycling down "The Road of Death". But is a lot safer on a bike compared to being on a bus! If interested in researching the La Paz bike tour click here. The other mountain bike option in La Paz is this tour.

Accommodation Options

Search and compare extensive Bolivia accommodation options here. Select 'Bolivia' from the country list. Then select the location city or town. Through this search link you should be able to find Hostels and Hotels starting as cheap as US $4 per night.
A new hostel called Loki Backpackers has recently opened in La Paz. Loki have an excellent reputation in Lima and Cusco. In La Paz they have converted the century old Hotel Viena into their new hostel venture. Their rates are always cheap.

Spanish Classes & Homestay

I undertook Spanish Classes and homestay in the colonial town of Sucre. Learning Spanish is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local Bolivian culture. If interested in doing a similar program please send me an email and I will forward you more details.
